Trick or Treat

We treated more than tricked. I pretty much covered his eyes or turned my body width way so he couldn't see any of the scary stuff.
Yeah, yeah, I know that is probably sheltering him, but he is not even 2 yet. He doesn't need to see or be exposed to all the crazies of life just yet.

I prefer him to be happy and care free as long as possible.

Crewe totally "got" Halloween this year and he was a blast to watch. The only thing we really need to work on..... is him knocking on the door and waiting....... he knocked and then immediately tried opening the door. Luckily he is quite cute, so nobody cared.

Any door, even if there was a "For Sale" sign in the yard, Crewe was ready to go.

Of course we were not strict at all.... pretty much let him eat candy whenever he wanted even if I broke mom rule #1 and let him walk with a sucker in his mouth.
Love how similar my boys are. I see so much of Daddy in Crewe and it melts my heart. This picture just cracks me up. Right cheek dimple, looking somewhere other than the camera. Typical male and I <3 it!

Love that my boy gets into holidays and traditions as much as his momma. I hope he is ready for Christmas. THAT is momma's holiday. Decorations are going up tomorrow and Sunday.

  1. He is absolutely adorable! I'm glad he had fun! Good for you mommy for letting him eat all the candy he wanted! It's only one day out of a whole year he should be allowed to, don't you think?

  2. I still can't get over how ridiculously amazing his costume is! Crewe is too, too cute for words. I'm right there with you -- I was shielding my son from all the scary costumes, even though everyone pointed out to me he wouldn't understand anyway, he's only 16 months old. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's a mommy thing! Haha.
